在游戲中玩家扮演因?yàn)榭针y而迷失在叢林里的幸存者主角,生活于叢林內(nèi)的恐怖詭異無(wú)臉人型生物將會(huì)展開(kāi)追殺,而你所要做的就是設(shè)法逃生。這個(gè)無(wú)臉人型生物是一個(gè)在叢林里有著原始社會(huì)組織架構(gòu)的團(tuán)體行動(dòng)生物,雖然乍看之下仿佛是普通人類,不過(guò)卻會(huì)以驚人的高速展開(kāi)攻擊。在遇到它們時(shí),玩家可以選擇潛入并暗殺,或是使用自己制作的武器從正面干掉敵人。
此外玩家要在森林中生存就必須學(xué)會(huì)各種各樣的生存技能,包括砍掉樹(shù)木搭建帳篷,或是生起篝火用來(lái)保暖,搜尋食物以免主角被餓死,當(dāng)然,玩家還可以自己種植食物來(lái)自給自足。
該作將登陸PC平臺(tái),同時(shí)支持頭戴式虛擬現(xiàn)實(shí)顯示器Oculus Rift!

《森林》是一款開(kāi)放式的恐怖生存游戲,游戲中玩家們必須收集樹(shù)枝點(diǎn)火來(lái)防止自己的體溫低下,或是為了覓食而在叢林里四處探查尋找,進(jìn)行打獵,制作物品,自給自足。而隨著玩家們?cè)趨擦謺r(shí)間拉長(zhǎng),各種野外求生技巧也將會(huì)變得更加純熟,并可以選擇適合場(chǎng)所作為自己的據(jù)點(diǎn),建立防御工事來(lái)抵擋夜晚怪物的攻擊。
